The HOPE Fund Committee was established in December 2012. The committee sought to establish the HOPE Fund and put on an annual event to aid those patients who are feeling the added strain of their resources. The patients become part of the infusion family and the committee's personal mission is to ensure the patients receive and get access to the help they need physically, emotionally, and financially.

HOPE Springs started in 2013 as a grass roots effort to raise funds that would stay 100% local to help those receiving treatment at the Essentia Health Infusion Center in Hibbing, MN. What was intended to raise a few thousand dollars has grown to an event with over 600 participants that raised over $43,000 in 2017.
